Betsey has dedicated her life to relationships and lives what she practices. She is a licensed (CA, CT, NY) Marriage and Family Therapist who specializes in relationships. She empowers and inspires her clients to focus on the changes they are able to control within themSELVES as a means to improve the quality of the most important relationships in their lives.

She grew up in a large family (7 kids!) in upstate New York. After completing her undergraduate studies in communications at Ithaca College, she began an adventure with the man who became her husband. Over the last 40 years together they have lived in many cities in the US, (including 29 years in CT) and together raised two sons who are both launched and starting adventures of their own. Her growing family welcomed a daughter-in-law in 2015, a GRANDSON in late 2018, a GRANDDAUGHTER in the summer of 2021, and BOY/GIRL TWIN GRANDCHILDREN in November 2023!!

Her work with families, couples, and individuals has enabled her clients to make the changes they may have previously believed not possible. Her individualized approach is informed by both theory and experience. Betsey has an intuitive ability to see people's strengths and challenges, while guiding the therapeutic process toward healing. She is committed to enabling personal growth for her clients.

She supports them to not only imagine their lives as spectacular but to take concrete actions that lead to joy. Her tenacity toward pulling from her clients their greatest strengths has been an inspiration to many. Betsey likes to take chances and pursue growth in her own life.
